I've been nice and naughty this year but I still dream Santa can grant my wish this year. (Who says only kids can ask Santa for gifts? Haha! ) It's a long list, yes, and adding to that is a Samsung Smart Oven. I was able to learn some of the features of this Smart Oven when we've attended the Samsung Cooking Workshop last December 11 at Cafe Romulo located at Makati. Actually, it's a series of cooking workshops using Samsung Digital Appliances with no other than renowned Chef Ernest Reynoso Gala. Sharing his delicious recipes, techniques, cooking tips in an actual cooking demo with hands-on cooking. I really wished that I've attended all those cooking workshops which was held at GalaStars Culinary School in Pasig City.
Anyway, some of the participants shared with me that they've cooked, microwaved, grilled, fried (I have to emphasized -slim fried) and even baked using only this Samsung Smart Oven. Its high quality, fast, effortless cooking allowed them to prepare these dishes: carbonara, barbecue chicken, hearty chicken pies, vegetable muffins, deviled eggs with olive spiders, juicy burgers, etc. Imagine, it's like having multiple kitchen appliances in one.
If you're wondering just like me why this oven is called "smart", I've learned that it has several features that are really cool. First, it has a Slim Fry Technology that combines grill with warm air circulation frying your food into crispy, golden brown while maintaining all the flavors inside without much oil. How's that if your cutting back on oil and wanting healthier food? Second, wide grill that allows for even browning effect on food. Third, it's ceramic inside makes it easier to clean without scrubbing and it avoids discoloration over time. And last, I'm really curious with its Fermentation Technology that allows you to make dough and yogurt anytime. This I've got to try because I love yogurt! Guess, I have to start buying ingredients for cookies and milk for Santa this Christmas. Bye!
